Pristine employs bio-augmentation, a natural and non-chemical approach, to enhance water quality in both freshwater and marine environments. This advanced formula introduces beneficial bacteria that break down excess food, waste, and detritus, effectively reducing harmful nutrients such as ammonia, nitrates, and nitrites. By controlling these nutrient levels, Pristine helps prevent the growth of nuisance and disease-causing organisms, resulting in clearer water and a healthier aquatic ecosystem.

The unique bacterial blend in Pristine is specially developed for resilience and adaptability, thriving in a wide range of environmental conditions. These bacteria can metabolize various organic compounds, including fats that often cause unsightly surface films. Unlike traditional nitrifying bacteria, this robust blend can flourish even in harsh or low-oxygen environments, continuously multiplying to improve water conditions. Additionally, biopolymers produced by the established bacterial colonies trap particulates, further enhancing water clarity.

The carefully selected bacterial species in Pristine are designed to promote long-term stability and health in aquatic systems, supporting both freshwater and saltwater habitats.

Directions

Shake well before use and turn off UV sterilizers or ozone devices prior to application. Use 1 capful (5 mL) for every 40 L (10 US gallons) of water initially. For maintenance, apply 1 capful (5 mL) per 80 L (20 US gallons) whenever livestock are added or the biofilter is disrupted by cleaning or medication. Ensure antibiotics are removed with fresh carbon and a water change before introducing the bacteria. Allow 2 to 3 days for bacterial colonies to establish before reactivating UV sterilizers or ozone. Persistent nutrient issues may indicate overstocking, overfeeding, or insufficient filtration, which should be addressed to maintain optimal water quality.
